Office & Production Manager

We’re seeking a highly organized, independent & responsive team player to join our team.  The ideal candidate is an organized responsible self starter who works well with deadlines. Qualification include a college/business diploma & 4-5 years administrative & production experience in one of the following fields: product manufacturing/wholesale or distribution, project management, event management, promotional product advertising or tourism.  Our Team is responsible for providing "exceptional products and customer service" and maintaining a reputation for quality and service excellence.

Office Duties:

- Maintaining an organized productive administrative environment
- Purchasing: Working with supplier, establishing terms, negotiating rates and maintaining friendly relations.  Managing internal database.
- General maintenance of office systems, updating policies & procedure, ordering office supplies
- Organizing new product data effectively, updating product details & pricing
- Updating/adding product information
- Sourcing product and providing product ideas and pricing for quotes. Dealing with urgent and last minute requests
- Bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Shipping & receiving
- Scheduling
- Responsible for production including: receiving, quality control, product assembly, packaging, gift wrapping and shipping
- Providing solutions to challenges
- Assisting with client needs, answering calls, fielding questions, & friendly customer service
-Preparing quotations

- 3-5 years administrative & production experience in an office environment such as: product manufacturing/wholesale or distribution, promotional product advertising, event management or tourism.
- Clear & concise verbal and written communication. Accurately interpret what others are saying and organize and express their thoughts clearly.
- Independent & strongly self motivated, requiring minimal supervision
- Personal management skills —plan and manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
- Personal responsibility
- Accurate & strong attention to all the details
- Excellent time management, ability to maintain organized & methodical systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills —creativity, reasoning and past experiences to identify and solve problems effectively.
- Comfortable in a team environment, with a friendly helpful nature.
- Interpersonal effectiveness — relate to co-workers and build relationships with others in the organization.
- Desire to learn and grow and the ability to not take correction personally
- Computer/technical literacy — proficient with basic computer skills.
- Typing 60 wpm
- Ability to quickly provide results with online R&D
- Confident working knowledge of MS Office, FedEx Online Shipping & Database management.  Experience with Maximizer, QuickBooks, ASI, PPAI, PPPC, SAGE, are an asset.
- Ability to stay calm and tactful under pressure
- Flexible with change of direction & decisive depending on the situation, yet able to take direction
- Proactive, upbeat attitude
- Academic competence in reading and math — ability to read and comprehend  instructions and perform basic math
 - College diploma, preferably in business administration or project management
- Valid driver’s licence
- Bondable
- Experience working in a small business is an asset.

Terms: 3 month probationary period, with a 3 year commitment once the term is complete.
Salary: Negotiable plus incentives.
