Idea Incentives ships orders in a timely manner and in accordance with carrier guidelines to arrive at their destination by end of day on the requested in hand date. Title of goods passes to the buyer FOB Vancouver.  Idea Incentives tracks and confirms the arrival of all shipments at the final destination, and notifies the client of the delivery.

Idea Incentives does not accept responsibility for shipments arriving late as a result of delays or mishandling by the shipper, customs broker or agent. These delays if they occur are not in our control.

We recommend clients include a 2 day buffer to all requested in hand dates to allow for any unforeseen delays in shipping.

If you prefer to have your order shipped on your carrier’s account please provide the:

  • 1)      Carrier Name
  • 2)      Account Number
  • 3)      Level of Service (Express overnight, 2 day or ground service)
  • 4)      Shipping Address (with contact and telephone number. For residential addresses please confirm if the shipment can be left at the front door)

Preferred Carriers


International Shipping

International orders will either be shipped with your preferred carrier, or will be shipped by Idea Incentives and billed to your account.  Title of goods passes to the buyer at FOB Vancouver.  Please keep in mind that any customs, duties, and taxes that may apply to your international order will be billed to your account.  To find out more about costs that may apply to the products you wish to ship, please inquire with our customer service department. 

Idea Incentives will ship all packages in a timely manner to safely meet all required deadlines, however we cannot guarantee on-time delivery or safe carriage of goods for shipments outside of Canada.  Idea Incentives will not accept responsibility for delays incurred in the shipping, customs and brokerage for your products.  

Please note that Idea Incentives will not accept responsibility for delays in shipping caused by an International shipping company, or by customs.  Please note that with recent security measures in the United States of America, the Food and Drug Administration can pull any food shipments without notice.  Please be aware of this when purchasing food for a required date, and allow for additional time with these shipments.

a) US Shipping Forms:

  • Commercial Invoices
  • FDA Forms- For all Food Shipments destined for the USA

b) EIN Numbers for US Shipments:

Please provide your company EIN Tax ID # for all shipments destined for the USA. If the recipient of the package is a Canadian person/Company then that person/company must provide their Canadian Business Number or Social Insurance Number.  US Companies please provide an EIN # in order for your gifts to clear customs. 

An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is also known as a federal tax identification number, and is used to identify a business entity. An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is a nine-digit number (for example 12-3456789) that the IRS assigns to corporations, limited liability companies and other business entities for tax filling and reporting purposes. An EIN is used by businesses in order to pay taxes to the IRS, it is analogous to the social security number that individuals use to pay taxes. Every partnership, corporation and LLC must have an EIN.


Drop Shipments

One order includes shipping to two different addresses.  Three or more addresses for the same order will be billed a “Drop Shipping” charge as follows:

  • $12.00/shipment in Canada.
  • $15.00/Shipment for US & International shipments plus $75.00/hour for customs documentation.
  • $75.00/Shipment for orders requiring FDA paperwork. 

Delivery Schedule

Please always check availability of the items being requested.  When your selection is in stock:

  • Allow 1 - 3 business days for delivery in British Columbia and Alberta
  • Allow 5 - 10 business days for delivery throughout Canada
  • Allow 7 - 15 business days for delivery in the USA

Please note: During times of high volume, it may not be possible to honour these lead times.

Idea Incentives encourages the customer to place Christmas orders at the earliest possible date due to the holiday season rush, to avoid disappointment. Please call one of our customer service representatives regarding shipping deadlines and to ensure prompt delivery.

Upon ordering, please provide an accurate name, address & contact number.  If the address provided is a residential address, please confirm if this delivery can be left at the front door.   We do not ship to Post Office boxes.
